01Daughter

I don't think of Dexter and his team as caregivers. I consider them part of the family.

As a practicing art and cultural property lawyer for the last 25 years, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with a variety of very challenging people, other lawyers, major art galleries, artists, museum directors, and the like. However, when it came to assisting my own elderly parents, I was at a loss. No one is more challenging to negotiate with than an 88 year old former doctor (my father) and an 84 year old Alzheimer's patient (my mother).

When I hired Giving Care and turned their daily care over to Dexter, it was like a weight was lifted. My parents became calmer and less agitated. I was able to rely on high quality personnel for doctor visits, nutrition and basic care. I always feel like I am in touch, and frankly, Dexter and his team have made it possible for me to spend quality time with my parents and less time in conflict with them.
